CIS Attends The U.S.F Area Community Civic Association, Inc. Ceremony for Recognizing Local Heroes

On October 13, 2009 CIS joined the USF Civic Association to honor some of our local heroes. Among those honored, CIS was presented with the Deputy Richard Roach Public Safety Award for outstanding service and bravery in protecting the children and families of the University Area Community. CIS Issues a New Edition of Standard Operating Procedures

In the early fall of 2009, CIS issued a new edition of our Standard Operating Procedures, or SOPs, to all officers. Dated July of 2009, this document represents the experience of our agency and countless officers over the last seventeen years since our founding. At more than 10,000 words on approximately 500 pages, it is part policy, part guideline, and part handbook. (Click here to read more)

CIS Joins Forces With Residents and Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office for Clean Up and Preservation of the Nuccio Community

On Saturday, January 10th 2009 at 0730hrs, CIS officers rolled onto the grounds at the Nuccio Community Center on Sligh Avenue in Sector 3. With us we brought the Mobile Command Center (MCC), the Argo (our amphibious 6-wheeler off road vehicle), nearly a dozen CIS officers, and a strategic plan for working in concert with the Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office. Residents of the surrounding community also joined us in what would be one of the largest combined efforts in the area for a community beautification program ever. 2008 “Record Breaking” Toy Drive

The Toy Drive started quietly during CIS’s second year of operation (1993), when then Client WTSP Channel 10 asked our CEO, KC Poulin, if he knew any kids who could benefit from leftover toys they had from their annual Toy Drive. K.C. Poulin, President and CEO of Critical Intervention Services Appointed as Vice President of FASCO

The Florida Association of Security Companies (FASCO) has appointed K.C. Poulin as Vice President. FASCO represents member security agencies in the fight to continuously improve the professionalism of the contract security industry. FASCO has been instrumental in progressing legislation with the assistance of a lobbyist that provides protection to the industry and improves the professionalism.
