Craig Gundry, the Vice President of Special Projects, coordinates and oversees all CIS security consulting and training projects in addition to the development of CIS Anti-Terrorism Officer (ATO) training and operational doctrine.
Prior to joining CIS, Mr. Gundry was the President of Palladium Media Group, a company specializing in training and consulting on explosive, chemical, and biological terrorism. He has over 17 years of experience working with Force Protection/Anti-Terrorism (FP/AT) projects in the United States Army, intelligence analysis, and corporate security.
Mr. Gundry is also the author of the acclaimed Bomb Countermeasures for Security Professionals CD-ROM - currently in use with over 500 law enforcement and government agencies.
In addition to his education at St. Petersburg College, Mr. Gundry has received certification as a Certified Protection Specialist (CPS) through Executive Security International. Mr. Gundry has also received additional training in force protection, leadership, and intelligence analysis via the U.S. Army. Mr. Gundry is also Certified in Homeland Security (Level III) by the American College of Forensic Examiners International (ACFEI).
Areas of Expertise
Anti-terrorism, countermeasures for weapons of mass destruction (explosive, chemical, and biological), protective intelligence analysis, chemical plant security, and physical security planning.
Mr. Gundry is CIS's primary consultant on issues pertaining to risk assessment, anti-terrorism planning, and WMD countermeasures. In this capacity, Mr. Gundry has coordinated security analysis and program development projects for organizations ranging from chemical manufacturers to energy companies.
Mr. Gundry is also an adjunct instructor for the S2 Safety & Intelligence Institute and has trained thousands of public safety and security professionals in terrorism related topics. Some of the courses taught by Mr. Gundry include:
Mr. Gundry serves as a frequent consultant for the news media and provides expert commentary on issues pertaining to terrorism, homeland security, and weapons of mass destruction (WMD).
